Bosh sucks, has always sucked and we should have gotten rid of him a long ass time ago. Same with our coach and GM. If Toronto was smart, they'd run after Dirk!

Bron should leave Cleveland, and try to team up with Phil Jackson...possibly in NJ

Bosh is as good as gone, don't think he'll land in Miami like people say cuz dwade's contract will take up too much cap space.....

dirk would be a nice fit, but would he want to play for a team that is pretty much rebuilding? he wants that ring now! maybe he'll sign with phoenix and reunite with nash?

Jackson is contemplating retirement, i think this coaching gig has gotten too easy for him! haha

when Lebron moves, it'll be an interesting few days!!! :)

Jackson will retire if he doesnt land a team with someone like Bron or Kobe. They want to cut his pay by what was it...12 million...OooooK...If he leaves LA, that'll be it for Kobe getting rings that easy. Phill aint going anyhwere. LA would be stupid to let him go.

Bosh is a .5 dimensional player. Definitely not franchise material and can not bring a team anywhere except maybe McDonalds for a happy meal.

Wade wants to build a dynasty and if Miami was smart they would follow his lead.

Stoudamire wants to leave phoenix. Maybe time to reunite Dirk/Nash

lol @ bosh thinking hes a franchise player and that he should get the same kind of attention and courting from these teams as dwade and lbj. He actually said in an interview that he does not want to be considered as an addition to either wade or james but wants to be looked at as a franchise player. on any good team hes not even close to number one option.

Bosh should go to NBDL where he can be a franchise player

bron bron will go to knicks where he can team with amare and run the show or to the new jersey (soon to be in brooklyn) nets. tthat russian guy will make him a billionaire and tahts what james wants. + jay owns like 0.4 % of the team so thats extra incentive.

although i think james will go to brooklyn anyhting can happen with the combination of wade and james either in miami, chicago or NY.

Chicago wold be good because of rose and noah, but the nets have harris and lopez

maybe parker amare and james in NY depending on cap space or parket and amare in NY and next year add carmelo

hopefully for the raptors sake they do create a SUPER team, itll just mean that all the other teams will be weaker so raps may have a change at a playoff birth, cause turks not gonna get us there

who knows but its going to be interesting to say the least.

There are only 2 players that deserve max salaries this year imo. Bosh/JJ/Amare are not franchise players.

Bosh is not the guy to bring the Raps to the next level, so if he leaves, no big loss. He's not aggresive enough. Settles too much on jump shots. Raps will only sign and trade him if they get something decent in return. I'm curious to see how Hedo does without Bosh, I think he play much better when Bosh isn't on the floor with him.

Wade stays in Miami, and Lebron, well, I know I'm gettin reamed for this, he's another Karl Malone. Can't win it. He's had 2 very good teams in Cleveland, and didn't even make the finals.

I agree, we should just let him go, especially with waht I heard wed be getting back (Beasley, Chalmers and anthony) that would be a huge waste of money
Beasley would NOT want to play in Toronto, I think hes still to immature and too much wannabe "gangsta". He would just cry and complain.

also looks like there is no chance for a "super" team.

I though for sure lebron would leave cleveland, there is nothing there for him. But hearing that he will be making his announcement on prime time tv i dont think he would do the cleveland fans like that and announce hes leaving. so i think he will announce hes resigning, but i still hope he leaves for jersey or NY

Dont get it twisted...

Heat may win and I stress 'MAY' win one championship if they are lucky. Here are my thoughts as to why. . .

Lets first get things straight. They are not a super team. Bron/Wade. Fine, another nice duo. There have been many...(Shaq/Bryant, Jordan/Pippen, etc.) This still doesn't guarantee anything. In puts odds in their favour to do it however. I only watched the last 10 minutes of that waste of airtime. I can guarantee you no one on that show other than maybe Lebron referred to Bosh as a tier 1 player...think about that one for a minute. Already not getting the respect he wants. Why you ask?!?! Because Bosh is 1 dimensional player. Some offense and no Defense. What are they gonna do against teams like Boston or LA for starters. Dont forget about Orlando who has room for a nice acquisition. Bosh sucks bottom line.

Answer this question...What first round (you can even ask second or third round) pick for Toronto has left and made anything of themself? I'll help you:

Year --- Round --- Pick
1995 --- 1------------7--------- Stoudamire
1996--- 1------------2--------- Camby
1997--- 1 ------------ 9------------ McGrady
1998--- 1 ------------ 4------------ Jamison (traded to Golden State)* <-- Resulted in rights to Carter
1999--- 1 ------------ 5------------ Jonathan Bender (from Denver,[c] traded to Indiana)*<-- Resulted in Antonio Davis
2000--- 1 ------------ 21------------ Peterson
2001--- 1 ------------ 17------------ Michael Bradley
2002--- 1 ------------ 20------------ Kareem Rush (from New York,[e] traded to L.A. Lakers)* <-- Resulted in Chris Jefferies and Lindsey Hunter (dont ask)
2003--- 1 ------------ 4------------ Bosh
2004--- 1 ------------ 8------------ Araújo
2005--- 1 ------------ 7------------ Villanueva
2006--- 1 ------------ 1------------ Bargnani <--what were they smoking you ask, clearly the Euro stuff...
2008--- 1 ------------ 17------------ Roy Hibbert (traded to Indiana)*
2009--- 1 ------------ 9------------ DeRozan
2010--- 1 ------------ 13------------ Ed Davis

*Note: These players didnt play a game or were not here long enough to suffer the curse.

Now book this....I know its tough to foresee the future, but imagine ballers werent so self centered and just a bit patient. Check out the underlined players and think about them in their prime. We would have had at least one ring. Instead we'll play the euro game. If Bosh was smart he would have stated, taken a cut and tried to do what Wade did and recruit. He is too naive to see what the rest of Raps did and where they ended up.

I figured bron would have went to NJ or at least NY to start something there seeing as they have a lot of money. They could have brought Nate back and they would have been decent.

Now I will watch Jermain Oneal sign with Boston and wait for the rematch of Boston LA. I would have liked to see them sign shaq. That would have been an interesting matchup.

Anyways, back to the Miami bit. There is not enough time in a game for Wade/Lebron to get off enough shots and score enough points to satisfy themselves. Dont listen to them saying they are not into it for themselves. Its Wades team and Bron is going to want it to be his own. Its like me having a mint 2002 NSX but them giving the keys to Derek to drive for a bit, and then him pulling up to a drive through with me in the passenger seat and him telling the hot chick that its his car haha. Just wont work. They will have to let go of the talent Miami has to make space and then hope there are some starts that want to take a cut to play with these guys. Oh there will be a select few, but will they fit? Bring on the '10/'11 season!!!

Correction...top 2 guys. Bosh is a top guy to Canadian standards. Canadians generally suck at basketball. Compared to the league, Bosh is Average

cavs owner response to james

http://www.thestar.com/sports/basketbal ... er-to-fans

Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight.

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his “decision” unlike anything ever “witnessed” in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don’t deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

“I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE”

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our “motivation” to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that’s simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown “chosen one” sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And “who” we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called “curse” on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former “King” will be taking the “curse” with him down south. And until he does “right” by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....

Dan Gilbert

Majority Owner

Cleveland Cavaliers

If one more person refers to Bosh as a "superstar," I'm going to scream. His résumé: seven seasons, 11 career playoff games, one second-team All-NBA selection, never played in a big game in his life other than the gold-medal game of the 2008 Olympics. Now he's fleeing frigid Toronto for South Beach, no state income tax, Dwyane Wade, max money and the playoffs … and this makes him a "superstar"? Did we really drop our standards that low?

Let's say LeBron signs with Miami. Can you even make the Finals with LeBron, Bosh, Wade and nine minimum-salary guys? Because that might be next year's team … and if that's what happens, the answer is "no effing way." You don't win titles just because of your top three. That belittles the meaning of guys like Derek Fisher, Robert Horry, Steve Kerr, John Paxson, Brian Shaw … you could go on for hours naming role players who swung a title. The 2008 Celts lucked out by getting James Posey, Eddie House and P.J. Brown for practically nothing; Miami wouldn't have that luxury this summer, not with so many role players jockeying for contracts one year before the possible lockout. Nobody is taking less money to showcase themselves for a summer that might not happen. Even if Miami could spin Michael Beasley for a fourth guy (say, Trevor Ariza), that's still not enough. They'd need one more rebounder, point guard, a 3-point shooter and a center. Good luck.

Although this may bite me in the a$$, I guarantee, Miami will NOT beat this Phil lead Laker team. LA has too much fire power, Kobe, Gasol, Artest, Odom, Fisher, Bynum etc....they are balanced. And they're very good defensively. Kobe will take this whole thing as a challenge.

And more thoughts: Don't count out Boston, as much as I hate them, they're a solid team, and great defensively. Orlando as well. Not saying they'll beat Miami, but it'll be close.

This Heat team would have never come close to the Bulls, Old Celtics and Showtime Lakers, as well as the Shaq/Kobe dynasty.
